High Country Soccer Association HCSA is excited to return to the fields beginning Monday, August 10 (barring any new information from state and/or local governments. While we are thrilled to resume organized activity with our players and coaches, there are restrictions and guidelines that we will implement to promote the safety of our entire HCSA community. In response to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, High Country Soccer Association created a plan for a return to play. The Administrative staff along with the Board of Directors, in consultation with local medical experts, developed the HCSA Return to Play (RTP) Action Plan that implements a phased approach to resuming activity. We know that everyone will be excited to come together and train; however, it is imperative that all coaches, players and families adhere to these guidelines. It is important to note that all HCSA activity is optional for all members. This HCSA Return to Play (RTP) Action Plan addresses many critical details that must be followed by all players, parents, coaches, staff, etc. to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved with our club and community. As an HCSA member, it is your responsibility to adhere to these policies. The progression through the action plan will be determined by Club Leadership in evaluating all current data available and based on guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, the State of North Carolina, North Carolina State Soccer Association, local government officials, and in consultation with health professionals. NOTE: These stages are based on guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, the State of NC, NC State Soccer Association, local government officials, and consultation with health professionals. The implementation of and the content of these stages can and will be adjusted as needed based on the latest information available regarding the safety of our community.
