Performance – indicates when a performance review is due with no increase. 4. Performance / Salary – annual review tied to salary increase. 5. Salary – indicates a salary increase is due, but a review is not due at same time. 2 Other Review Types •Other Review types can be entered and tracked in SEMA4. These are the five Review Types that MMB will be reporting: 1. Annual Performance 2. Both 3. Performance 4. Performance/Salary 5. Salary •Important note: MMB’s reporting will not include review types related to probation or other non-annual reviews. 3 Scenario #1 – Adding Review Information • Scenario: Jennifer has been hired at the Department of Finance. She has no prior state service, so she is entered as a New Hire in SEMA4. After the job record has been entered, we need to establish the first employee review record for Jennifer. • Important note: a placeholder will be added AFTER a review has been completed, not at the time of hire. 5 Scenario #1 – Adding Review Information Enter the Employee ID and select the appropriate Record number 1. Because this employee is a New Hire, the effective date should be the date the first performance review is due (not including probation reviews). 2. Select a review type. Leave the From/To Date fields blank since the review has not yet been done. 3. In the Next Review Date field enter the date when the first review is due. 6
