Aligning the current budgeting and forecasting processes to a consistent framework across the University, using the enterprise tool TM1; 2. Developing a suite of new financial management reports, providing a platform for future developments in reporting and forecasting” For R Funds only in Stage 1….. 3 Purpose of the new reports Improved decision making capability • Financial information presented in a consistent format Comparison of Actuals, Forecasts and Budgets in one report • Updated Income Statement report format Translation from current “FMR” reports with a revised Account Structure • Centrally available reports in the University’s enterprise system Self-service/ on demand for all stakeholders Efficiencies in local finance teams • Phase out of bespoke local Excel reporting models across Colleges and Divisions 4 What reports are available? Income Statement • Comparative data • Actuals (Act) and budget (Bud) vs forecast (Fcast) results • Income, Expenditure and other financial items • Within an Organisational (Org) Area and/ or at project level.
