The week was kicked off with a post dedicated to educating patients and healthcare professionals about patient blood management. In an afternoon post, we continued to promote a webinar planned for November 8th which was presented by Dr. Irwin Gross. Kick-off of PBM Team Featured Members Paired with Key Messages Day 1: Dr. Irwin Gross 5 This post kicked-off the celebration of the PBM team through a post and snackable that featured Dr. Irwin Gross as an advocate of better patient care through patient blood management. We continued to promote webinar participation in anticipation of the Wednesday afternoon event too. First Accumen Branded Webinar Took Place!!! 6 This post featured the webinar event which was presented 11/8 by Dr. Irwin Gross. The webinar promoted care of the surgical patient through a PBM perspective. PBM Team Featured Members Paired with Key Messages: Day 2 Joe Thomas 7 The PBM team feature focused on Joe Thomas and raised awareness of the opportunity to increase patient safety and reduce over-transfusion of blood by implementing a comprehensive patient blood management program. The press release was distributed across all media channels and encompasses our APS™ messaging along with the capabilities and experience Tom will bring to the Accumen team. It provided information regarding the fact that more testing does not always lead to BETTER patient care. Jeff Myers Presenting at G2 Lab Leadership Summit 16 The week’s posts concluded with a “save the date” promotion of Jeff Myers’ faculty participation at the G2 Lab Leadership Summit where he will be presenting at an event with the theme “Practical Strategies for Maximizing Revenue under the Latest Billing and Reimbursement Guidelines for 2018.” This linked to the G2 Lab Leadership Summit event details. G2 Lab Leadership Summit Presence 17 On Monday, we promoted our presence at the G2 Intelligence Lab Leadership Summit in Atlanta on December 8th. This post included a press release and a snackable which was issued across all social channels. Jeff Myers will be facilitating a morning and afternoon session at the event and provide an overview of the current and future state of clinical laboratory reimbursement. In the afternoon, he will look at the future state of clinical laboratories and provide insight on the opportunity that exists for the sale of clinical laboratory outreach programs.
