These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Management (Registration and Practice of Environmental Experts) Regulations, 2021. Application 2. These Regulations shall apply to registration, categorization, practicing and conduct of environmental experts and firms of environmental experts registered and certified under these Regulations to conduct- (a) environmental impact assessment; (b) environmental audit; or (c) any other environmental study that may be required to be undertaken under the Act or its Regulations. Interpretation 3. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires- Cap. 191 “Act” means the Environmental Management Act; “area of expertise” means professional qualification and experience that an individual possesses; “Association” means the Association of Environmental Experts; 4
