                             UNIT II
              HRD modules: Recruitment and selection – orientation and placement performance
              appraisal – training and development – promotion and motivation – career development.
              Performance appraisals and performance development – objectives of performance
              appraisal – The past and the future; Basic consideration in performance appraisal;
              Development oriented appraisal system. Interpersonal feedback and performance
              counselling.

              Potential Appraisal and Development. Career planning and Development – Quality of
