1. People who are in part-time employment who would like to, and are available to, work more hours.
2. Available jobseekers are not actively seeking work but were available to start a job in the reference week.
3. Unavailable jobseekers are currently seeking work but were not able to start a job in the reference week, although they will become available shortly after.
4. The sum of those unemployed, underemployed and in the potential labour force.
5. The number of underemployed people expressed as a percentage of the employed population.
6. The number of underutilised people expressed as a proportion of those in the extended labour force. The extended labour force includes the labour force (employed & unemployed) and the potential labour force (available potential jobseekers and unavailable potential jobseekers).
7. Ethnic groups in this table are created using the total response output method. Please refer to DataInfo+ (see Definitions and metadata section on the webpage) for more information.
