| REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAICS COST PROPOSAL | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| STEPS FOR CUSTOMIZING TEMPLATE | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The intention of the cost proposal template is to ensure all bidders submit requested pricing in the same format. This will allow building owners the ability to compare bids across responses. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 1: | All "orange" cells should be filled out by the building owner issuing the RFP. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 2: | Customize Price Proposal Tab to include only the pricing structures (e.g. PPA, Lease, Direct Purchase) and additional bid adders requested. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 3: | On the Price Proposal Tab, designate the annual escalation rate you would like respondents to assume when providing PPA and/or lease pricing. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 4: | If requesting a direct purchase, indicate the number of panel washings requested per year. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 5: | Request a separate NPV Cash Flow for each financing structure by creating a separate tab for each (e.g. PPA, Lease, Direct Purchase). | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 6: | On the 'NPV Cash Flow' tab, include discount rate, energy escalation rate and avoided cost of electricity. The building owner can request the avoided cost of electricity, if calculated the NPV will be difficult to compare across responses. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Step 7: | All "yellow" cells should be filled out by the bidder. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
