Geometry Most units will includes a ● Unit 2: Parallel and couple of quizzes and an Perpendicular Lines assessment (test) at the end ● Unit 3: Transformations ● Unit 4: Triangle Congruence ● Unit 5: Relationships in Triangles ● Unit 6: Quadrilaterals and Other Polygons ● Unit 7: Similarity ● Unit 8: Right Triangles and Trigonometry ● Unit 9: Coordinate Geometry ● Unit 10: Circles ● Unit 11 Two- Three Dimensional Models ● Unit 12: Probability Grading policy: School-wide, two categories of grade distribution will be used: Achievement and Process. These categories are defined below: ● 70% Achievement – the demonstration of student mastery of content (i.e., tests, quizzes, projects, and major writing pieces) ● 30% Process – the activities used to build understanding and lead to content mastery (i.e., daily classwork, journals/starters, homework). Students will have two weeks for final submission of assignments after the due date if we are in a virtual setting. No assignments will be accepted after the two week date.
