                  15. Lecture Benefit
                      Animal Nutrition and Feed Science is the science learns about the definition of Feed, Ration,
                  Nutrition and Feed Formula and the differences, various types of feed ingredients making rations
                  ranging from conventional feed ingredients to feed ingredients derived from agricultural waste,
                  livestock related to animal feed and the metabolic and digestive processes of ruminant and non-
                  ruminant.
                      In addition, by mastering animal nutrition science, it is very useful in compiling ruminant and
                  non ruminants ration formulas according to their needs, in terms of increasing livestock
                  production and animal health.

                  16. Lecture Strategy

                  The lecturer only provides outlines of the subject matter or sub-topic or provides normal and
                  abnormal examples of Animal Feed or Rations and examples of making and compiling rations
                  that can be applied to livestock, then students are expected to ask questions that are less clear and
                  also answer lecturer questions.
                  Students will also be given assignments in addition to mid semester examinations and final
                  semester examinations

                  Group assignment :
                  9th to 14th week: One class is divided into several groups with each group having a maximum of
                  10 people

               19.  Evaluation criteria
                   Evaluation System
               Each test is given a raw score in the value of 0 to 100. Specifically for the final score, the
               assessment is given in 7 grades, namely: A, AB, B, BC, C, D and E

               The final value of a course is determined from the combined results of the evaluation of all test
               scores held by the lecturer concerned. Examples of test value (quiz), (structured assignments),
               (internship examinations), (soft skills), (UTS), (UAS) tests are: 1.5: 1.5: 2: 1: 2: 3.

                    Example :
                         Student X takes the Animal Nutrition Science test, the value for each exam is as
               follows:
                    Quiz                     =  70
                    UTS                      =  70
                    Assignment               =  65
                    UAS                      =  75
                    Internship examination  =  60
                    Softskill                =  80

               Then the final value (still in raw value)

                   (70x1.5) + (65x1.5) + (60 x 2) + (70 x 2) + (75 x 3)+ 80
                                  1.5 + 1.5 + 2 + 2 + 3+1
                                         767.5
                                           11       =  69.77

               Processing Final Value (raw value / in the form of numbers) becomes a Quality Value in the
               form of letters processed in 7 (seven) grades. From the final value (raw value), the mean value
               (X) can be processed. The grouping of values is done using the ASSOCIATION REFERENCE
               ASSESSMENT (PAP) as follows:

                                         Value                                 Letter
                                          ≥ 75                                   A
                                        70 – 74.9                               AB
                                        65 – 69.9                                B
                                        60 – 64.9                               BC
                                        55 – 59.9                                C
                                        40 – 54.9                                D
                                          < 40                                   E
