                   Syllabus for B.A. (Hons.) Hindi Entrance Test Examination 
                                            2017-18 
                                                 
              Time: 1.45  Hours                                                  Marks: 100 
               
              The Entrance Test for B.A. (Hons.) in Hindi Language & Literature will comprise of two 
              parts- Part-A & Part-B. 
               
                      1.  Part-A will consist of 40 objective type multiple choice questions regarding 
                         General awareness, Current Affairs & General Knowledge. Each Question 
                         contains  one  mark.  There  will  be  negative  marking  in  Part-A  with  a 
                         weightage of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. 
                          
                      2.  Part-B will consist of Subjective type descriptive Questions with weightage 
                         of 60 marks consisting of 5 Questions of 6 marks each and 3 Questions of 10 
                         marks each. Questions will be based on General understanding of Hindi upto 
                         Class XII standard-Hindi Grammar, Poetry and Prose i.e. Nibandh & Lalit 
                         Nibandh, Vyangya, Samiksha, History of Hindi Literature and others.  
               
                     
                     
                     
              Note: Admission to the B.A.(Hons) in Hindi shall be done on the basis of merit determined 
                   by the result of Entrance Test Examination.
