                                  ABSTRACT 
            Effect of Cooperative Learning Model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) to 
            the Arabic Vocabulary Mastery (Quasi-Experimental Study on Grade Ten 
            (X) SMAN 11 Bandung Academic Year 2013/2014). This study is based on the 
            lack of Arabic vocabulary that is owned by a class X SMA Negeri 11 Bandung . 
            Therefore, researchers try to improve the student's ability to master the Arabic 
            vocabulary  by  learning  methods  using  the  method  Teams  Games  Tournament 
            (TGT) . This study aims to determine how significant the effect of the method 
            Teams  Games  Tournament  (TGT)  in  vocabulary  learning  Arabic.  With  this 
            method , students can maximize their ability to master the Arabic vocabulary, 
            group work and play, so that students can master the Arabic vocabulary quickly 
            and enjoyable. In practice, the research methods used by researchers is a quasi 
            experimental  method,  the  design  of  one  group  pre-test  and  post-test,  the 
            experiment conducted at only one group without a comparison group . With a 
            sample of the 36 students using research instruments in the form of tests and 
            questionnaires. Based on this research, found a significant effect that the method 
            Teams Games Tournament (TGT) may enhance the student's ability to master the 
            Arabic vocabulary because every student becomes active, passion and fun with 
            learning methods that have scenarioied by researchers. This is evident with the 
            average value of students who had been 45 then after learning Arabic vocabulary 
            by  using  the  method  Teams  Games  Tournament  (TGT)  the  average  value  of 
            students increased to 83. Seen in the t-test, it can be seen that the larger t-count 
            than t-table value, is the 3.87 > 1.67. Therefore, learning Arabic vocabulary by 
            using  the  method  Teams  Games  Tournament  (TGT)  is  very  good  if  done  on 
            learning Arabic. Hopefully with all the advantages and disadvantages that exist in 
            this study, may provide new thinking on education, especially teachers, so as to 
            support  the  development  of  learning  Arabic.  Until  finally  learning  Arabic

                      Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament 
                      (TGT)  terhadap  Penguasaan  Kosakata  Bahasa  Arab  (Studi  Eksperimen 
                      Kuasi terhadap Siswa Kelas Sepuluh (X) SMA Negeri 11 Bandung Tahun 
                      Ajaran 2013/ 2014). Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya penguasaan kosakata 
                      Bahasa Arab yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Bandung. Oleh 
                      sebab  itu  peneliti  berusaha  meningkatkan  kemampuan  siswa  tersebut  dalam 
                      menguasai  kosakata  Bahasa  Arab  dengan  metode  pembelajaran  menggunakan 
                      metode  Teams  Games  Tournament  (TGT).  Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk 
                      mengetahui  seberapa  signifikan  pengaruh  metode  Teams  Games  Tournament 
                      (TGT)  dalam  pembelajaran  kosakata  Bahasa  Arab.  Dengan  metode  ini,  siswa 
                      dapat  memaksimalkan  kemampuan  mereka  dalam  menguasai  kosakata  Bahasa 
                      Arab dengan belajar berkelompok dan bermain, sehingga siswa dapat menguasai 
                      kosakata Bahasa Arab dengan cepat dan menyenangkan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, 
                      metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode eksperimen kuasi, 
                      dengan  desain  one  group  pre-test  dan  post-test,  yaitu  ekperimen  yang 
                      dilaksanakan  hanya  pada  satu  kelompok  saja  tanpa  kelompok  pembanding. 
                      Dengan  sampel  penelitian  yang  berjumlah  36  siswa  menggunakan  instrumen 
                      penelitian berupa tes dan angket. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, ditemukan pengaruh 
                      yang  signifikan  bahwa  metode  Teams  Games  Tournament  (TGT)  dapat 
                      meningkatkan  kemampuan  siswa  dalam  menguasai  kosakata  Bahasa  Arab 
                      dikarenakan  setiap  siswa  menjadi  aktif,  semangat  dan  senang  dengan  metode 
                      belajar yang telah disekenariokan oleh peneliti. Hal ini terbukti dengan nilai rata-
                      rata  siswa  yang tadinya 45 kemudian setelah dilakukan pembelajaran kosakata 
                      Bahasa  Arab  dengan  menggunakan  metode  Teams  Games  Tournament  (TGT) 
                      nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 83. Dilihat dalam uji-t, dapat diketahui 
                      bahwa nilai  t         lebih  besar  dari  nilai  t    ,  yaitu  3,87>1,67.  Oleh  sebab  itu, 
                                      hitung                             tabel
                      pembelajaran kosakata Bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan metode Teams Games 
                      Tournament  (TGT)  ini  sangat  baik  jika  dilakukan  pada  pembelajaran  Bahasa 
                      Arab. Semoga dengan segala kekurangan dan kelebihan yang ada dalam penelitian 
                      ini, dapat memberikan pemikiran baru terhadap dunia pendidikan, khususnya para 
                      guru,  sehingga  dapat  mendukung  berkembangnya  pembelajaran  Bahasa  Arab. 
                      Hingga  akhirnya  pembelajaran  Bahasa  Arab  menjadi  mudah,  menarik,  dan 
                      tumbuh berkembang di masyarakat luas.
